Help UBWRFC launch the new invitational 7s team for current students and alumni

We’re excited to launch Scarlet 7s, UBWRFC’s new sevens rugby team!

This dynamic initiative will showcase the incredible talent of our players, strengthen connections between alumni and current students, and support the inspiring work of Maddy’s Mark, a charity dedicated to promoting positive mental health and wellbeing in girls and young women through the sport of rugby.

Your support will directly impact the success of Scarlet 7s. Donations will be used to cover essential expenses, including:

  • Tournament Fees: Entry to high-level sevens competitions to provide our players with opportunities to compete on a bigger stage.
  • Travel Costs: Ensuring our team can participate in tournaments across the country, representing UBWRFC with pride. this year the scarlets hope to travel all over Europe to compete including Prague and Lyon.
  • Training Resources: Access to coaching, equipment, and facilities to prepare our players to perform at their best.
  • Kit and Team Gear: Building a strong, unified identity for Scarlet 7s on and off the pitch.

But it’s not just about rugby. Your generosity also supports Maddy’s Mark in its mission to foster and build young women's confidence, self image and self belief through the values of the rugby community. In its first 2 years, Maddy's Mark has been able to commit funds to bring rugby to over 2,000 girls.

By donating, you’re not only helping us build a successful team—you’re also contributing to a cause that makes a real difference in promoting positive mental health and wellbeing. Together, we can honor UBWRFC’s proud history, inspire the next generation of players, and support a legacy of kindness and community.

Join us—donate today and be part of the Scarlet 7s journey!

Thank you,
