We did a bake sale today at Senate House and raise £168 towards our project, and all the leftovers will be eaten by our lovely volunteers in the house this week! Thank you to all the students who came to support us!

A quote from one of our volunteers:'Before I started volunteering, I never called Nightline because I was always too scared to. I think I felt embarrassed to share my worries with a stranger, and that they were never bad enough to call a helpline. But now I’ve been on the other end of phone, I realise how much I would’ve benefitted from talking through what’s on my mind with a stranger. I would encourage fellow students to do the same if they are struggling in any way.'

At Bristol Nightline we are so excited that we have reached our first £100 that will help our volunteers receive support for a month! We are so grateful, and have been open our usual five days this week, talking to students who are suffering with emotional and mental health. We have a training cycle for new volunteers next weekend and a bake sale coming soon- more to come!
